Donovan A. Bro went peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, December 2, 2013 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Gruenwald). Loving father of John (Kim), Andrew (Lisa) and Peter. Devoted grandfather of Tyler, Carly, Judson, Natalie and Ian. Dear brother of Karen Stegeman and brother-in-law of Charlotte Cathey. Further survived by nieces, nephews and many good friends. Donovan was retired from the city of West Allis as Comptroller after 27 years. He was a Korean War Veteran and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. In his retirement he enjoyed traveling, golfing, playing cards, reading, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
