Age 94. Passed away peacefully on December 4th. Beloved wife of (the late) Myron F. Hess, USMC. Cherished mother of Nancy (David) Cook, (the late) Richard, Robert, and William (Beverlee). Loving grandmother of Matthew, Jeremy, Andrea, Angela, Nikki, Alan, and Kara. Further survived by her sisters Janet Hansche, Peggy (Claude) Burdick, Susan (Brad) Wyman, sister-in-law Molly Millar, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her step-brothers Malcolm Millar and David Millar, and daugther-in-law Kym Hess.

Lou was an avid gardener, and she loved swimming. She was a world traveler, who loved bird watching in the many places she visited.

She was a devout Christian, very active in her church, Emanuel United Church of Christ of Hales Corners, in the choir and other activities.
