Dorothy June Thierfelder (nee Bauer) Dorothy passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the age of 91.  She was born in Milwaukee on June 8th 1925 to the late Charles and Fredericka Bauer.   She married her sweetheart of 78 years, Kenneth A. Thierfelder, on June 25th, 1945 in Houston, Texas while Ken was serving in the United Army Air Corps.  She was the loving mom of Cheryl (John) Batchelor, Susan (Larry) Holmes, and Heidi (Dan) Moshinski.  Cherished grandma of Heather (Brian) Anglim, K. Robert (Christine) Batchelor, CJ (Shelly) Batchelor, Holly Moshinski, K. Steven Moshinski, and Margo-Ann (Tracy) Turner.  She was preceded in death by her grandson, Zachary Moshinski.  Dearest grandmama of 11 great-grandchildren.  Visitation Sunday, March 5th, 4:00 to 7:00 PM, at the funeral home, with a tribute to Dorothy's life given by her grandchildren at 7:00 PM.  Visitation also on March 6, 2017 at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1236 S. Layton Blvd, from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.  Interment will take place immediately following the service at Arlington Cemetery.  The family would like to extend special thanks to all of the nurses at DaVita Dialysis Center and Maple Ridge Rehabilitation Center.
