Age 73.  Went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 28, 2014.  Survived by his loving wife Joan; daughter Lisa (Fredric) Sitarski; sisters Liene Berzins and Mara Tupesis; sister-in-law Karen Fleming; nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his son David, parents Austris and Marta, and sister-in-law Lois Day.  Born in Latvia, Egils immigrated to the U.S. in 1950.  Eventually moving to Wisconsin, he worked his way through school to earn his masters degree.  He had a long career as a supervisor in the nuclear medicine department at the VA Medical Center in Milwaukee.  Private family services will be held.
