(Nee Weisenberger) Age 78, made her transition on September 29, 2018. Born October 10, 1939 in Arcadia, Wis., to Ralph and Martha Weisenberger. Most recently a resident of Elm Grove, previously of Milwaukee, Brown Deer and Thiensville. Preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Ralph (Loretta) Weisenberger and Joseph (Jane) Weisenberger. Survived by her husband of 50 years David Muench and daughter Sarah Muench (Rich Kirchen) of Milwaukee. Also survived by her siblings Margaret (Harvey) Arnold; James (Audrey) Weisenberger; Phyllis (Marvin) Wolfe; Mary Kay (Nathan) Abts; Jack (Barbara) Weisenberger; Jeanette Goodman; George (Shirley) Weisenberger; and Barbara (Carl) Rapp; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and great granddaughter Katie Mae. Grew up on family dairy farm in Bill's Valley, Arcadia, moved to Milwaukee at 18, was secretary at the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce and the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development. Brave, strong polio survivor and heroine. Loved flowers and interior decorating; appreciated the beauty of nature; fashionable; enjoyed shopping in Kohler with her daughter; and cherished visits and phone calls with Arcadia family. On the farm as a girl she rode draft horse Topsy bare back and ate delicious blackberries. Eileen held fond memories of her aunt Mary and uncle Isadore Perkins of Centerville.Visitation Sunday, Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to noon at Wisconsin Memorial Park Family Living Center, 13235 W. Capitol Dr. in Brookfield. Service at noon followed by reception and deli lunch. Private interment Monday Oct. 15.
