(nee Olson) Age 90. Went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec 16, 2013. She was the 7th child in a family of 13 in Butler, SD. Elgie lived and worked in Minneapolis for several years after high school and then moved to Milwaukee in the 1940's to join her sisters. Preceded in death by her husband Frank William Birdsell, her daughter Linda Hull, her parents Olaf and Alfel Olson, four sisters Milverid Mauritzson, Ethel Ditmanson, Bernice Kaun, and Lucille Kashuba, three brothers Willy Olson, Edgar Olson, and Oscar Olson. She is survived by her three daughters, Sharon London, Deanna Kuehn, and Jean Borkowicz; twelve grandchildren, Jennifer London, Jeffrey London, Tom Benning, Owen Benning, Rebecca Weber, Ryan Hull, David Kuehn, Erick Kuehn, Franklin Kuehn, William Borkowicz, Brian Borkowicz, and Mike Borkowicz; 17 great-grandchildren, Saul, Isaac, Mysha, Alexis, Devin, Ashley, Drake, Mason, Zack, Sarah, Caleb, Miles, Jackson, Steven, Samantha, Indiana, and Arizona; three sisters, LaVonne Doerner, Vera Braley, and Donna Smeins; two brothers, Jarvis Olson, and Richard Olson; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.Visitation:Memorial gathering at the funeral home.Service:Memorial service will follow the gathering at the funeral home.
