Elinore E. Abbott, 79, of Waukesha, died on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Lutheran Home in Wauwatosa.  Elinore was born February 23, 1937 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Dominic and Jacqueline Valente.  She is survived by four daughters, Patti Abbott, Jenny Abbott, Beth (Craig) Everson and Jackie (Dave) Grams; three grandchildren and many good friends who cared about her very much.  Elinore was preceded in death by the love of her life, Donald Savin, who has 5 children whom Elinore considered her step-children.  Elinore retired from Waukesha County where she worked most of her life in Child Protection and Foster Care.   She enjoyed gardening, traveling and spending time with Don on their Pontoon boat fishing and cruising around the lake they lived on.  The family is planning a private memorial service.
