Elizabeth "Beth" Menning, 68, of Mukwonago,Wisconsin passed away peacefully on September 28, 2021. She had advanced Stage 4 non-small cell lung adenocarcinoma (Lung Cancer).
Beth, was one of the most compassionate/strongest/ courageous/bravest/kindest/most giving/biggest heart women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the matriarch of the family.
Beth met Herman Menning in 6th grade at Clarendon Avenue Elementary school when she fell down running around the track and he stopped to help her up and into the nurses office because she skinned both her knees. In 1972, they were married at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Mukwonago, WI. Beth never graduated from High School, instead she embarked on one of the toughest jobs in the world..Wife, Mother (Momma Bear),
Grandmother (Grammy), and Great Grandmother (Great Grammy).
Beth was a wonderful and loving Wife, Mother (Momma Bear), Grandmother (Grammy), and Great Grandmother
(Great Grammy) even to those who weren't hers. She gave her all to her family and friends. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.
Beth was predeceased by Roger A. Schankey (father), James A. McGowan (estranged father), Susan M. McGowan (estranged mother).
