Mater, Emil C. Age 91. Passed away peacefully, at home, with family at his side on May 26, 2011. Loving husband of Elfrieda (nee Becher) for nearly 62 years. Father of Marlene (Stan) Ingraham and Martin (Carol) Mater. Grandfather of Mark (Tina) and Michelle (Josh). Great-grandfather of Hannah, Angelina and Amy. Brother of Margaret Hale. Brother-in-law of Mavis Mater. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Emil was an elementary school teacher and principal in the Milwaukee Public School system until his retirement in 1982.
