Krumnow, Emma M. Emma May Krumnow's journey ended on Feb. 6, 2011, at the age of 84 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Harda Shelgren and her husbands, Warren Luckmann, Henry Grobe, and Kenneth Krumnow; all of whom were cherished loving partners. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death as well. Emma is survived by her loving devoted family, son Erwin (Mary) Luckmann, daughter Cynthia (John) Ewers, daughter-in law Kathy Luckmann, and grandsons Geoffrey (Amy), Matthew (Ann) and Christopher Luckmann. Four sisters and two brothers-in-law also survive her as well as other relatives and friends. Emma's priority was her family. She worked tirelessly for her family and applied the same energy to her 36 year nursing career. The last eighteen years of her career were spent at her alma mater Milwaukee Lutheran Hospital of Milwaukee. She and her late husband Kenneth enjoyed a retirement rich in travel and involvement with family and friends. We don't like to say goodbye, but all of our journeys end. Your ashes will rest in peace beside your beloved Ken as you desired. You will be missed by those who love you. Your strength and caring has been an inspiration for all of us. Many thanks for all the cards, gifts, and flowers from dear friends and relatives over the duration of Emma's illness. They were much appreciated by her and gave her comfort that so many cared about her.Service:As Emma requested, she will be cremated and there will be no funeral.
