Passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 24th, at the age of 94. Erv was preceded in death by Eleanor, his devoted wife of 66 years, his son Michael and Michael's partner Kaye. He leaves behind his beloved son John (Barbara), brother Donald Lutz, three grandchildren: Matthew, Jeff, and Craig (Amanda), and great-grandchildren Lily and Ava.Erv and Ellile were lifelong residents of Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood. Erv worked for the city of Milwaukee for over 30 years. He loved listening to sports games, news, and 60's and 70's rock n' roll on his trusty transistor radio; it was never far from his hand.Erv served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII when he was stationed in England. He worked in munitions under the command of James Stewart. Private service and burial will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
