Hering, Eugene Duane. He was born June 10, 1937 in Milwaukee, WI and passed away peacefully in Orange City, FL Tuesday, May 5, 2015, with family present at the age of 77. He is survived by beloved wife Beverly (nee) Hoffmann of 53+ years. Also survived by sons Jeffrey (Cindy) and John (Kristen) Hering and daughter Cheryl (Dale) Robertson. Loved Grandpa of Bradley and Rebecca Robertson, Lauren, Samantha and Christian Hering, MacKenna Franke and Alyssa and Levi Hering. Preceded in death by brother Edmund (Charlotte) Hering. Survived by brothers John (Linda) and William Horenberger and sister Viola Horenberger. Survived by sister-in-law Nancy (George) Figol and brother-in-law James (Carol) Hoffmann. Preceded in death by brother-in-law Howard (Beverly). Dear uncle of Charles (Connie) Hering, Jesse Horenberger, Weston and Rae Erni, Sam, Kevin (Diane), Michael (Yvonne), Debby, John (Becky) Hoffmann, Lynn Hoffmann, and the late Alan Hoffmann. Preceded in death by cousin Richard Michl. Survived by cousins John (Peg) Michl and Judy (late Harvey) Packard. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Attended Boy's Tech High School and in 1954 at the age of 17 enlisted in the US Air Force where he served honorably for four years. Afterward he attended Milwaukee School of Engineering. He married Beverly in 1961. He worked for the Railway Express Agency from 1961 to 1975 and the Continental Baking Company from 1976 until his retirement in 1992. He enjoyed camping, fishing, New Smyrna beach, Mexico, DIY projects, camp fires, family gatherings, sipping a beer and his dogs. He was raised by "Granny" (Amanda Hering), so his Grandchildren had a special place in his heart. Visitation on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W Janesville Rd, Hales Corners, WI from 4 to 6PM. Funeral Service to follow at 6PM with Pastor Ben Keurth Celebrant.
