Merkel, Eugene C. December 15, 2011. Age 86. Beloved husband of Kathely for 64 years. Faithful father of Gary (Cathi), Joanne (Terry) Olson, Marjorie (Chuck) Gouge, Paul, John, Janet, Tom (Sue), Bill, Laurie (Steve) Christensen and preceded in death by his son, Richard. Further survived by 24 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.Cemetery:Private interment.Visitation:Visitation at Cross Roads Community Church, 4315 S. Moorland Rd., New Berlin, WI, Monday, December 19, from 4:00-6:00 PM,Service:Funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM.
