Flynn, Florence C. (nee Smith from Rubicon, WI) born into the arms of the Lord October 3, 2013 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late John. Loving mother of John (Betty), Mary (Fred) Matestic, Patrick (Carolyn), Timothy (Sue), Diane McGinnis (friend, Jay) and Joyce (Lee) Wendt. Proud grandmother of John (Diane) Flynn, Christopher Flynn (friend, Lisa), Sarah (Lenny) Garcia, Theresa (Andy) Buschmann, Andrew (Rebecca) Andestic, Liz (Chris) Price, Greg (Leigh) Flynn, Robert Flynn, Jennifer Flynn, Richard Flynn, Erin Flynn, Kelly (Tim) Werwie, Stephen Flynn, Rjay (Roshea) and John McGinnis. Florence had many great-grandchildren; Kathryn Rose, Lisa Mae, Grace Marie, Lillian Rose, Camille Sophia, Alayna Marie, Nolan Andrew, Annamarie Joy, Felicity Rose, Hayk Andrew, Oscar Eric, Leola Marie, Garrett Patrick, Titus Timothy, and Nathaniel Richard. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother. Florence was dedicated to her faith in Christ and found joy in prayer and reading the Scriptures. She was a WWII bride and lived with integrity and inner joy. Above all she enjoyed working in the business world, proud to be able to take shorthand! Visitation will be Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from 9:30 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. at St. Mary's Faith Community, S. 95th at West Forest Home Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. Interment in Wood National Cemetery, 5000 W. National Avenue. The family is grateful to the 2nd floor nurses and caregivers at Allis Care Center.
