Frank J Krokos Jr. (or Francis as he's sometimes known by his legal name) passed away on Tuesday, August 21st, 2012. Frank was raised by his parents Frank Sr. and Millie in Eastern Pennsylvania along with his brother Ricky and his sister Lois. After he graduated from Coughlin High School at the age of 17, he joined the United States' Coast Guard. By the time his enlistment was completed, he earned a number of commendations and awards for his honorable service aboard the CG Cutter 'The Woodwind'. He also made long-time friends and lasting memories which made his proud his entire life. In 1987 he married his wife Kerry and they raised their two lovely daughters: Brittany (age 27) and Staci (age 24) in Milwaukee, WI. Frank had multiple career paths he followed after receiving two Associates degrees from Milwaukee Area Technical College. Most recently, he had been doing much work with the local Milwaukee VA- particularly the 'Guitars for Vets' program. He also participated in several programs with the Badger for the Blind organization. Frank touched the lives of each and every person he met and was loved by all who knew him. Even though Frank will be deeply missed, his family and friends are very grateful he is finally at peace.Visitation:The Memorial Service for Frank will be held at the Hartson Funeral Home (located at 11111 West Janesville Rd Hales Corners, WI 53130).
