Frank Robert StarckAge 76, of Wind Lake, found peace on Wednesday, September 7th, 2016. Frank is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn of 48 years, his children, Bill Starck and Laura (Mike) Amann, his sister Marlene Jansen and his three grandchildren, Indigo, Sage and Violet. Preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Marion (nee Kuske) Starck, and sister Barbara Stapleton. Also loved by other family and friends.Frank graduated from Milwaukee Boys' Tech in 1957 and worked as a Field Service Technician for Allis-Chalmers and later Siemens-Westinghouse. He was known for his odd sense of humor and for playing practical jokes on his co-workers. He married his beloved wife, Marilyn (nee Gonnering) in 1968 and they moved to Wind Lake, WI in 1970 and have lived there ever since. He had 2 children, Bill Starck and Laura (Michael) Amann and 3 grandchildren, Indigo, Sage and Violet. Frank also loved dogs and is survived by his fur baby Sadie, who gave him much comfort and love in the years they spent together. Frank enjoyed many things in life. He loved to problem-solve and tinker in his garage. He was an avid Corvette enthusiast, babying the various models he had owned throughout the years. He also loved snowmobiling, jet skiing and spending afternoons out on the lake. In later years, he enjoyed traveling overseas with Marilyn, and beginning in 2012, enjoyed spending the winter in Florida, where he delighted in designing and driving around his Green Bay Packers golf cart. He was a Packer Backer through and through and loved to watch the games on TV. Frank also loved to fish. He was an enthusiastic deer hunter, going up hunting every year with his life long friend Dave. He also enjoyed working out at SNAPS with his friend Conrad. Memorial gathering at St. Clare Catholic Church,7616 Fritz St., Wind Lake, WI 53185, on Wednesday, September 14th, 2016 from 10:00-12:00 with a Mass at Noon.
