Frank E. Wheeler Jr.

God welcomed home Frank E. Wheeler Jr. on September 16, 2021, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Frank lived his life with passion and intelligence, observing and writing. He was a dedicated protector, provider, and loving husband to his wife Marie.

Frank had an infectious laugh and enjoyed sharing his wit and wisdom with others. He had a love of Godzilla, and classical music and BB King. The list is long of authors who inspired him, but one that inspired the most was C.S. Lewis, who was influential in Frank's faith in God.

Frank had a storied professional career, most recently as a Global Security Analyst with G4S, which involved a good amount of problem solving and providing information for the protection of others. Prior to that he was a teacher, security guard, and Senior Training Specialist.

Frank loved literature, writing, and reading and was a published author himself. He was also a continual learner exemplified by his Masters of English from the University of Lincoln, Nebraska, and his seemingly endless knowledge, as evidenced when playing any type of quiz game (i.e., trivial pursuit). He loved being in nature, whether that was hiking or biking or just observing wildlife such as hawks and cardinals (his favorites).

Frank is survived by his wife of almost 20 years, Marie, along with his parents Frank E Wheeler, Sr., and Kathleen Wheeler. He also was loved deeply by his nieces, sisters in law, brother-in-law, aunts and uncles and friends throughout his life. Frank's faith, humor, devotion, love and perseverance will live on in our memories until we meet again.

Frank's celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the Healing Chapel (7410 W. Rawson Ave. Franklin, WI).

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations toward medical expenses.
