Obituary
Garrit B. DeHeus passed away in the comfort of his home on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the age of 95.
He is survived by his beloved wife Carol (nee Whitney) of 73 years.
Gary was a veteran of the United States Army and lived an honest and hardworking life. He was the self-employed operator of a service station on 20th & Morgan Avenue in Milwaukee. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Gary enjoyed his quiet, straightforward demeanor and easy sense of humor.
He is further survived by his son-in-law Richard, his grandchildren: Samantha, Zachary, Nathaniel, Hannah and Noah, and his great-grandchildren: Jovi, Theodore, Oden and Evet.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Ann Marie as well as by his parents and two sisters.
In accordance to his wishes, he will be interred privately at St. Mary's Cemetery in Hales Corners.
