Gary Mauch

January 22nd, 1965 — July 11th, 2026

Gary Mauch passed away on July 11th, after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 61.

Born on January 22nd, 1965 to the late Rodney and Dolores, Gary lived a life defined by warmth, laughter and an open heart. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Gary’s legacy of love and laughter lives on through his family. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Cynthia, and his children, Tyler (Samantha), Jacob (Lily), and Nicole. Most of all, Gary leaves behind his grandchildren, who were the absolute center of his world and whom he loved with all his heart.

He was preceded in death by his brother Paul (Sue). He is further survived by his sister Debbie (Michael) Kolasinski, his beloved dog, Daisy, as well as many dear aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Gary was a remarkably kind man who truly never met a stranger. A genuinely happy go lucky person, he brought a lighthearted joy to every room he walked into and possessed a rare gift for making a friend absolutely anywhere. He simply loved life, and his easygoing nature made the world a brighter place for everyone who knew him.

A visitation will be held at Hartson funeral home on Wednesday July 15th from 4pm to 7pm. Please dress casual as this is what Gary would have wanted. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
