James, George E. Born to Eternal Life on November 17, 2012, at age 89. Beloved husband of the late Lotus Marie James (nee Reid). Son of the late Caroline E. and George D. James, and brother of the late Margaret Mueller. Beloved father of Dennis (Debbie), Gloria (Joe) Wittig, George (Sandy), Barb (Julius) Fomotor, and Larry (Mary Grace). Grandfather of Matthew, Evan, Laura, Marie, Stephanie (Ben), Austin (Jenni), George, Jessica (Kevin), Alex, Joey, and Maria. Great-grandfather of Gavin. Further survived by other relatives and friends. George was an employee of WTMJ/4, and a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was an avid amateur radio operator since 1960, enjoying many contacts around the world using his call letters K9LFC. George was very proud of his children and grandchildren and loved the outdoors.
