Koch, George A. Of Franklin. Passed away on September 16, 2012, at age 86. He was born on April 11, 1926 in Cudahy, WI. Beloved husband of Cathleen (nee Brady) for over 60 years, who survives him. Dear father of Linda Cathleen Iverson, Naval Capt. (ret.) Andrew James (Karen), Peter John (Terry), and Barbara Ann (Kevin) Heil. Proud grandfather of David Iverson, Kelly (Brooks) Ballard, Ryan Koch, Allyson Koch, Thomas Koch, Patrick Koch, Joseph Koch, Michael Heil, Katherine Heil, Andrea Heil, and Matthew Heil. Predeceased by his parents George A. and Katherine G. ( nee Fennig) Koch and son-in-law Peter Iverson. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. George attended Marquette University High School and joined the Army Air Force in 1944 after graduation. Upon discharge, he attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he was a member of Alpha Chi Rho Fraternity and graduated in 1950 with an economics degree. He met Cathy at the university and they married in 1952. After his career at Ladish Company, he spent many years as a volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital.
