Radlowski, George J.Age 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday night, September 20, 2014 at the VA Clement Zablocki Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Josephine. Dear brother of Robert R. Radlowski. Stepfather to Bob (Ann) Garrison, Sandra (Ed) Schwichtenberg, Frank Sorano, Frances (Gaetano) Alioto and the late Earl Garrison, the late Dennis Garrison, the late Donald Garrison, and the late Patrick Garrison. Grandfather to Jennifer Garrison, Tiffany VanPietersom, Natalee Garrison, Melissa Garrison, Frank Sorano Jr., Joseph Sorano, Jimmy Joe Garrison, James Garrison, Evan Schwichtenberg; Felicia Neldner, Christopher Garrison, Frankie Alioto, Vincent Alioto, Tommy Alioto, and Adele Alioto. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends. George was born May 18, 1929. He was, raised in Milwaukee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, employee of Line Material of South Milwaukee, employee of Milwaukee Public Schools, retired employee of the Muskego-Norway School District, and member of the Greendale American Legion Post #416. He spent many hours with his walking friends at Southridge, fixing older cars - especially Chrysler Cordobas and Volkswagons, going to car shows and making daily stops at the local Culvers. It was there that he met many friends.Special thanks to the many excellent doctors, and nursing staff at the Veteran's Hospital, where he spent his last two months after heart surgery. George wanted to be in their care and the staff would frequently comment on how much they liked him in their section of the hospital because he didn't complain. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Thursday, September 25, 2014 with services following. Interment at Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Cemetery, Union Grove, WI at 2:00 p.m.
