Zahn, George J, 87, of Franklin was born to eternal life January 7. He was the loving father of Kathryn (Stan) Novey, proud grandfather of Stephanie (Robert) Kruse, and George Denesha, great-grandfather of Dawson, and father-in-law of Michael (Jean) Denesha. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan, and daughter, Genie Denesha. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 7963 S. 116th St., Franklin. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Inurnment will be in Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Cemetery in Union Grove at a later date. Special thanks to George's caring neighbors who made it possible for him to remain in his home.
