Obituary
Gerald F. Scott, age 87 of Milwaukee, formerly of Oglesby, Illinois peacefully passed away Friday, December 8, 2023.
He was in the manufacturing field in cement. He served as the exalted ruler of the Elks Club #2360 in Oglesby and was the Mayor for 20 years as well. He served as deputy coroner in LaSalle County in Illinois. Jerry loved his family, took great pride in his personal accomplishments and being a private pilot.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 67 years, Patricia, children, Randolph (Deborah), Patrick, Joseph (Janine), Donna (Thomas) Martin, Diane (Scott) Schmidt, Susan (Bill) Gwodz, eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and one brother, Robert (Elaine) Scott.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
