Gilbert Hinz passed away peacefully on August 10, 2015. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Doris Hinz, his brother, Herman Hinz and son-in-law, Neal Davis; left behind to cherish his memory are his son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Cynthia Hinz, daughter Karen (Neal) Davis and loving family Rob and Peg Hamby; Grandfather to Brian (Doreen) Davis, Lisa Nolan, John Nolan, Adam Hinz, Todd (Emily) Hinz, Nicholas Hamby and Ross Hamby; Great-grandfather of Heather Mundt, Nicole Davis, Danielle Davis, Jacob Nolan and Caitlyn Nolan; Great-Grandfather of Isa'Bella Mundt, Antonyo Mundt, Jensen Holle, Aubrey Osborne-Davis, Oliver Hinz. As many nieces and nephews. Gilbert was an active member of Unity Lutheran Church in Milwaukee for 80 years, ushering, helping in the soup kitchen regularly, and a member of the Senior Club. He was an employee of Allen Bradley as a Tool & Die Maker for 30+ years, participating in many extra aspect of the company including its theater group, performing in plays. Services will be held at the Arlington Park Cemetery chapel, 4141 S. 27th Street, Greenfield, 12:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15th, 2015.  Entombment will  immediately follow. There will be a Celebration of Life luncheon following the committal service. Please contact the family for more information.
