Glenn G. Winger passed peacefully into Heaven on Friday, July 23, 2021 at age 84. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Falconero) for 60 years. Cherished father of Dean (Dottie) Winger, Jim (Judy) Winger and Carrie (Michael) Jekelis. Loving grandpa of Rose, Joe, Eric, Claudia, Noah, and Emma. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Gertrude Winger; brother, Jack Winger; brother-in-law, Robert Skindingsrude and sister-in-law, Carolyn Stephens.

Glenn graduated from Bay View High School in 1955. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1963. He later served in the reserves and often enjoyed telling stories about his time spent in the U.S. Army. Glenn worked in his uncle's cabinet-making business and his parents' hardware store before finding his career at Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District. In his retirement, Glenn especially loved spending time at his second home on Wild Rice Lake. He especially enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Other hobbies he liked were woodworking, welding, gardening, watching the birds and spending time with family and friends.
