Obituary

(nee Zeilstra)  Went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 2, 2015.  She is survived by her devoted husband Roger, and loving son Todd (Joan), and their children.  Further survived by her brother Fred (Jane) Zeilstra, sister-in-law Sharon (Duane) Hause, and nieces and nephews Christine Umnus, Kenneth Hause, Dan Zeilstra, Kelly Zeilstra, and their families.  She is greeted in Heaven by her beloved pups HyD and CD.  She enjoyed her years working at Sears in Southridge, and retired after 30 years.  Gloria was a President of Historic Milwaukee, President of the Hales Corners Women's Club, a professional tour guide, a founder of the Hales Corners local access channel on Time Warner, and a Paul Harris Fellow from Whitnall Park Rotary Club.  She loved reading and was an avid member of her local ladies book club.  Gloria was committed to education, and supported friends who were teachers to provide educational trips to Boerner Botanical Gardens.  Gloria took meticulous care and was very proud of her beautiful garden.  She loved her evening pontoon rides at Upper Kelly Lake.  Please join her family in celebrating Gloria's life at Whitnall Park Lutheran Church, 5847 S. Lilac Lane, Hales Corners, on Friday, February 6th, from 10AM to 12noon.  Service will follow.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Whitnall Park Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
