Obituary
Gordon Carl "Gordy" Wicklund, age 74, passed unexpectedly of heart failure joining the Lord on Thursday, June 11, 2020.
Gordy loved his Heavenly Father and served Hales Corners Lutheran Church in numerous ways for over 50 years.
He was married 53 years to his wife and best friend, Pat (nee Laux). Together they raised a family and enjoyed traveling and exploring the world.
A devoted Christian father and family man, Gordy will always be remembered by his three children; Dawn (Jim), David (Gloria), and Andrew (Lizanne), along with his five grandchildren; Megan, Zach, Madison, Ella, and Macy.
With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Valparaiso University, Gordy began his career at Allis-Chalmers which led him to co-founding Engineered Pump Services (EPS). In 2016, Gordy retired, but continued to serve on the Board.
Gordy was competitive and participated in all kinds of sports, from bowling, volleyball, and golfing to softball, water skiing, and cross country skiing. He loved them all, but he most enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Gordy will be most remembered for his mechanical mind, positive attitude, faith in the Lord, and generous heart. He touched the lives of so many people and will be missed.

On Saturday, June 20, 2020 there will be a "Walk Thru Visitation" at Hales Corners Lutheran Church,12300 W Janesville Rd Hales Corners WI 53130, from 10am ton11:45am.
COVID social distancing guidelines will be in place and masks will be provided, as needed.
The Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon in the Sanctuary which can seat up to 350 people at 25% capacity.
Unfortunately we will not have the ability to gather and share a meal afterwards, but if you have a favorite memory or story to share- please feel free to email Pat at [email protected]
