Age 94. Passed peacefully on November 2, 2018. Beloved wife of the late John Novak. Dear mother of Jay (Jennifer) and Guy (Carol). Proud grandmother of Amanda (Ted) Smith, Nicholas (fiance' Amy Steckelberg), Joseph (Jen) Novak; Tiffany (Bryant) Roberts, Ashley, Kyle (Desirae') and Michael Novak. Loving great-grandmother to Bear and Oliver Smith; Naomi, Bryson, and Tristan Roberts; and Blake Novak. Aunt of William (Judeline) Jones and the late Pamela. Also preceded in death by her brother, William (Vernell) Jones, and by special friend and companion Ernie Bartell. Survived by other relatives and friends. Harriet graduated in 1945 from Carroll College, and after raising her sons she started her retail career in 1963 at Boston Store. She moved to Kohl's Department Store in South Milwaukee in 1967 and retired after 21 years. Harriet was a resident of Brenwood Park in Franklin for 12 years, and her family expresses special thanks to Sue and her wonderful staff.
