Loving mother of children from her first husband Felix Vetta are Nadine (Lee) Rowland, Carla (Michael) Eauslin Sr., and Phillip (Pam Higbee) Vetta. Proud grandmother of Brian Vetta, Shannon Angell, Jeannette (Kim Schoenberger) Eauslin, Wayne Eauslin, Michael Eauslin Jr. and Laurie Mears.

She was a great-grandmother of Thomas, Dakota, Marissa, Amanda, Dominick, Rebecca, Julie and Tiffany. Great-great grandmother of Layla, Zaharia, Jaxon and Ellie. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Preceded in death by her first and second husbands, Felix Vetta and Charles Samuel, mother Mayme Dornbrak and father Lloyd McNett, sisters Eleanor Hackett and Jean Burmester, and great-grandson Ronnie Mears.

Hazel is also survived by the children of her late husband Charles Samuel. (Sam's) children are Shirley (William) Schultz, Charles O. (Beth) Samuel, Tim Samuel; five grandchildren Fred, Michael, Erika Samuel, Scott and Stephen Schultz; and five great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and going to Potawatomi Gambling Casino. She always managed to win. She loved her dogs Fluffy and Popcorn. She also loved gardening and had a huge vegetable garden and continued to do her own gardening right up through this past summer. Hazel was a great cook and was on a cooking show with her daughter in the 1950s, which was featured in the Waukesha Freeman.

Hazel also loved her mini-farm and caring for her chickens. One of her favorite things to do in later years was to go out to eat and she was a regular at several area restaurants in Sussex and Pewaukee.

Hazel was an astute businesswoman and had opened a uniform shop in downtown Waukesha and worked for the State of Wisconsin in the Probation and Parole department.

Hazel and Sam (Charles Samuel), put Oak Creek, WI, on the map in the 60's and 70's with Country Western music at Sam's Castle Inn, on 27th treet. They also owned Happy Hollow Tavern in Oak Creek which featured excellent food and live country music performances every weekend.

Hazel was a "Winter Texan" after her retirement in 1994, she and Sam lived for 19 years in Pharr and Alamo, Texas and then summering in Sussex, WI since 1996. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Hazel will be laid to rest next to her beloved late husband, of 38 years, Charles Samuel, "Sam", on Wednesday, April 10th, with a Christian inurnment. Her funeral service will be at St .Camillus West Residence, San Camillo Chapel, at 10200 W. Bluemound Road on Friday, April 12th, with visitation from 1-2:30 pm, and the funeral starting at 2:30 pm.

There will be a reception at St Camillus after the funeral.
