Rieck, Helen Ida (Nee Schultz) Age 89. A long-time resident of the Milwaukee area, died Saturday, December 4, 2010, at LindenGrove in New Berlin. She was born on January 31, 1921, in Chilton, WI, to the late Ernst and Emma (nee Beimborn) Schultz and graduated from the Hilbert High School. After graduation she moved to the Milwaukee area. She helped with the war effort working in a munitions plant during World War II. On October 3, 1945, Helen was united in marriage to William Rieck at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. They were married for 25 years until his death in 1970. Helen enjoyed knitting, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, card games and spending time with her family. She is survived by four daughters, Carol Zenda of Fall Creek, WI, Lorraine Rieck of Plymouth, MN, Barbara (Clyde) Hegelund of Osage Beach, MO, and Betty Rieck of Muskego, WI; four grandchildren, Amy (Mike) Zenda-Johnson of Eagan, MN, Erik Zenda of Altoona, WI, Emily Zenda of Eau Claire, WI, and Benjamin Zenda of Eau Claire, WI, four great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.Cemetery:Burial service will be scheduled at a future date
