Herbert E. Foster passed away on May 20, 2026 at the age of 94.
He spent 67 years with his loving wife, Lorraine Foster, who proceeded him in death. He was a family man and loved his life living in the same house for most of his decades. He is survived by two children Larry (Petra) and Loren (Kari) in addition to a daughter that previously passed away, Lynn.
He was proud of his family. Enjoyed staying at home and maintained that quick wit through the final days. Ingenuity with a bread clip is an understatement for the countless home hacks. He had a love for nature and animals. Camping when kids were little. Fishing for his quiet relaxation. Feeding all backyard animals his daily gourmet scraps. He played many games of cards with his grandchildren through the years and loved being with them all. His daily adventures were to the local casino where he told others he only played the nickel slots.
Herbert started his life as a little boy of Clark and Marie, grew up to become a well respected pattern maker, and remembered by his family for his love and wit. Thank you for shaping our lives!
