Howard J. Arentsen, Age 88, went to be with his Lord, April 28, 2013, at Maple Ridge Nursing Home, Milwaukee. He was born October 11, 1924 to the late Minnie (nee Lammers) and John Arentsen. He graduated from Cedar Grove High School. On June 3, 1949, he married Helen (Timmons). Both were members of Hingham Reformed Church for years and most recently attended Southbrook Church in Franklin. He loved gospel music, bowling, gardening, and traveling when he was younger. He worked at Mercury Marine for 32 years before retiring. Howard is survived by: two children, Laura (Jerry) Konkel, now of Sugar Hill, GA; Tom (Rachel) Arentsen of Hales Corners, WI; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Mark) Wiedenfeld, Jordan, Breann, and Matthew Arentsen; great-grandson Cameron Wiedenfeld; one sister, Eunice (Roland) Dirkse; sister-in-laws, Margaret Heinen, Jan Arentsen, Margaret Arentsen, and Donna Arentsen and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: brothers, Alan, Marvin, Irwin, and Reuben Arentsen; brother and sister-in-laws Earl Heinen, Mildred and Herman Kruise, and Elvira Arentsen.
