Helmle, Howard J. Born into Eternal Life on April 20, 2011, at age 66. He was born on July 27, 1944, the son of Bernice and Howard Helmle. On July 27, 1968, he was united in marriage to Jean Gutknecht. Together they had two daughters, Jamye (Greg) Gould and Jody (Paul) Keeku. Howard is also survived by grandchildren Emily and Owen Gould, and Austin, Shelby, and Paul Keeku; his brother Jerry (Julie), his mother Bernice; and mother-in-law Ruth. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In his early years, Howard enjoyed many activities and sports at Whitnall High School. Howard graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in biology. Howard loved spending time with his family and friends, and loved being outdoors. The lake and pontoon boat were his home and absolute favorite place. He was an active member of Emanuel Church UCC.Cemetery:Interment to follow service.Visitation:A visitation will be held at the Funeral Home Monday, April 25, from 4 to 8PM.
