Howard L. Knight
Age 89

Went home to his Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 7, 2023. He was born on June 15, 1933 to Earl (Les) and Elsa (nee Muenster). Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Maruszewski), who he was married to for 57 years. Loving father of Colleen (Mark) Boettcher, Donna (Chris) Weston, and the late Kevin (Carrie) Knight. Dear brother of Carl (Lois) and Diane Knight (Don Szeliga). Proud grandfather to Jackie (Justin) Feagles, Kellyn (Stefan) Doerge, Mandy (John)David, Amanda Boettcher, Grant Boettcher, Samantha Weston, Colin Knight, Ellie Knight, Grace Weston, Erin Knight, and Kathleen Knight. A very blessed great grandfather of Emma, Ben, Addy, Alex and Luke Feagles; Logan, Parker and Cole Doerge; Emmett, Eleanor, and Baby David.

Howard joined the Navy during the Korean War, where he worked as a journalist in Hawaii. During the 1960's he worked at American Motors and later began a life-long occupation as a life insurance agent for National Guardian.

He was dearly loved and will be missed by many including his best friends, Camille Janowiak and his cat, Boots. He will be remembered by his love for God, for music and for comedy. He especially loved telling jokes. He was involved at Faith Bible Church in the men's choir and a weekly Bible study group where he made long lasting friendships. He was admired for his positive attitude during hardship, and he hoped to always encourage others along the way.

He was lovingly cared for at Hickory Park after losing his vision over two years ago.

A celebration of life will be held at Faith Bible Church (4175 S. 112th St. Greenfield) on Monday, June 12th at 11:00. Visitation starting at 9:30.
