Block, Irma E. (Nee Schorrak) 84, went peacefully on June 28, 2011, surrounded by her loving family and was reunited with the love of her life, her husband of 56 years, the late Vernon J. Block whom she met at the Eagles Club and fell in love. Loving Mother and best friends of Joy (DuWayne) Polzien and Jill (Larry) Sikora. Loving and proud grandmother of John (Amy), Kelly, Jamie (Andy), Kyle (Nicki) and Keri. She was absolutely crazy about her great-grandchildren Taelyn and Evan. Also loved by her pets and companions Katie and Coco. Further survived by nieces and nephews. Our Mom cherished the time she spent with her family, always letting them know how much she loved them. Irma had such gifted hands as she could turn a pieces of yarn into something so beautiful. She crocheted thousands of pairs of mittens and donated them to the West Allis Senior Center, which in turn gave them to Vince Condella's Coats for Kids program. She always supported the Ronald McDonald House and constantly thought of others. Her family will always feel her love and warmth through the many beautiful afghans she made. Our mother and grandmother will be deeply missed but never forgotten. My Peanut: Could I have this dance for the rest of my life?
