(Nee Hackenbruch) Age 79. Passed away peacefully March 26, 2016 after a long, courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Beloved mother of Julia (Steven) Karides and Jennifer Laschen. Dear friend and wife of Terry Laschen. Devoted sister of Carol Hackenbruch. Futher survived by family and friends. After graduating from Washington High School, Jackie maintained many lifelong friendships with her classmates. Through the years, she was a hostess at many of Milwaukee's fine dining restaurants and immensely enjoyed her co-workers and customers. A talented artist, Jackie's greatest joy and legacy was her artwork. Her paintings have been shown in the Milwaukee area and have touched and brought enjoyment to many. A memorial gathering will be held at the funeral home on Friday April 1, 2016 from 11am to 1pm. Memorial donations may be sent to The American Parkinson's Disease Association (APDA).
