Age 91.  Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, October 31, 2014.  Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Doyle).  Loving father of James (Kathleen), Thomas (Linda), Robert (Christine), John, Mary, Margaret (Thomas) Salopek, Kathleen (Chris) Pickering, and David.  Cherished grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one son, Michael, and one grandson, Robert.  Further survived by other relatives and friends.  James, a WWII veteran, proudly served in the US Marine Corp 1st Division on Guadalcanal.
