James Peter Graham, age 86, of Greenfield, Wisconsin, went home to his Lord and Savior on April 14, 2025.

James was born on August 26, 1938, in Muskegon, Michigan, to Paul Graham Sr. and Trina (née Rose) Graham. He later moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he married the love of his life, Jacqueline (née Vermote) Graham, on April 22, 1961. Together, they shared 64 wonderful years of marriage, raising a family rooted in love, faith, and unity.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, James briefly worked for the State of Wisconsin before stepping into entrepreneurship and founded Graham's Quality Painting Company. He built his business on integrity and excellence, becoming known not only for his craftsmanship but for his trustworthiness. One of his greatest joys was traveling with his family, making memories that will be cherished for generations.

James was a devoted follower and servant of Jesus Christ, living out his faith with quiet strength and unwavering conviction. He had a heart for evangelism and was always ready to share the Gospel with gentleness and truth. Generous to the core, James gave freely of his time, wisdom, and resources—always ready to lend a hand or offer encouragement. His compassion, humility, and steadfast love for the Lord left a lasting impact on everyone blessed to know him. His life was a living testimony of God's grace and faithfulness, and he leaves behind a legacy deeply rooted in faith and love.

James is survived by his beloved wife, Jacqueline; their three children, Cindy (Larry) Jackson, Nancy (Robert) Landisch and Kathryn Graham; and the children entrusted to his care, Kiera Landisch and Xavier Grose. He is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; his brother, Charles (Diane) Graham; sisters-in-law, Cherie (Frank) DuBord and Geri (Mike) Peterson; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Sr. and Trina; his sister, Evelyn; brothers, Paul Jr., David, and Douglas; his parents-in-law, Peter and Loretta Vermote; and his sister-in-law, Geralyn Budde.

A celebration of James' life will be held on Saturday, May 3 at 3:00 PM at Hartson Funeral Home (11111 W Janesville Rd, Hales Corners, WI 53130), with visitation and light refreshments beginning at 1:00 PM.

James Peter Graham will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Yet we rejoice knowing he finished his race faithfully and heard the words we all long to hear: "Well done, good and faithful servant." (Matthew 25:21)
