Muskego - Age 86. Born into eternal life January 28, 2021. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Jean of 66 years. Beloved father of Paul (Diane) Mantey, Sharon Mantey, and Thomas (Denise) Mantey. Proud grandpa of David (Carrie), Brian (Cyndi), Douglas (Lindsay), Ryan (Janelle), Ericka, Zachary, Joshua, and Shawn. Great-grandpa of Lilly, Dezmond, Vanden, and Kaeden. James was also preceded in death by his siblings George and John. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Jim was a retiree from Allis Chalmers. He proudly served our country in the Naval Reserves after which he was a member of the Mukwonago American Legion Post 375. Jim was a lifetime member of Southeast Wisconsin Antique Power and Collectibles Society.

Funeral Mass at St. Leonard Catholic Church, W173 S7743 Westwood Drive, Muskego on Wednesday February 3, 2021 at 10 AM. Entombment to follow: Forest Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, due to Covid, please consider a memorial to St. Leonard Catholic Church. James will be missed by all.
