James "Jim" J. SchillingBorn to Eternal Life September 27, 2018 at the age of 96. Loving husband of the late Sylvia Schilling. Dear father of Damon (Lynn) and James Jr. (Deborah), and Nancy LaMonte (Michael Shinners). Proud grandfather of Kevin (Andrea), Craig (Heather), Steven (Stephanie), Keith (Cathleen), Lindsey (Emanuel), Ashlee (Kyle), and great-grandfather of his adorable great-grandchildren McKenna, Wyatt, Braiden, Savannah, Winston, Henry, Bohdan, Dominic, Josiah, Cienna, Leilani, Sylvia, Stella, and Brady. Further survived by other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife Sylvia and his parents, Stanley and Frances (nee Milewski) Schilling, Jim was preceded in death by his brother Ralph. Jim served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1945. He was avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed this sport with his sons and grandsons. Jim retired from the Milwaukee Public School System as a teacher in the Industrial Arts field. Special thanks to the staffs at Aurora At Home Hospice and Clifden Court for their compassionate care.
