(Formerly Weiner)  Passed away at home on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, age 55, in the company of his family after an 18 month struggle with a very aggressive form of brain cancer.  Preceded in death by his father, John Weiner.  Survived by his daughters Jennifer (fiancé Wally) Wener and Jessica Wener; fiancée and soul mate Lisa Repnik; mother Mary Weiner; brothers John (Lisa) Weiner, Jeff (Tracy) Wener and Jason (Lori) Weiner; sister Melinda (Brian) Lintner and many other relatives and friends.  Jim bravely faced his disease with courage and dignity and never complained about his situation even as the cancer devastated his body.  The family would like to thank Jim's fiancée, Lisa, and his cousin, Debbie Fitzpatrick, for the loving care and support that they provided him, especially in his last days.  Visitation will be on Friday, April 7, 2017 at St. Matthias Parish, 9306 W. Beloit Rd. in Milwaukee beginning at 11:00 AM.  Funeral mass to follow at 12:00 noon.  Jim's brain was donated to the Medical College of Wisconsin to help further brain cancer research.  Disposition of Jim's cremains will be carried out privately by the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
