James "Jim" B. YoungOur brother, James Young, age 72, passed away peacefully and quietly on March 6th at 10.30 am at the Ruth Hospice House, West Allis. Present were his sister Mary and her husband, Constanz Hartney with Bradley Hartney, Liesl Hartney, Judy Zepplin, and Bob Wernicke. Jim is further survived by other relatives and friends. The beautiful, peaceful last days he spent (under the excellent care of the staff) at the Ruth Hospice House were representative of his quiet life. After battling a series of illnesses that were with him since adolescence it is our spiritual hope that he is in a better place. Jim was self-employed, running an advertising agency. For several years he partnered with Katie McReynolds and enjoyed a successful partnership until he went on his own. He retired in 2013. His years-long participation in his love for dance (Argentine Tango and Salsa) is indicative of his determination to live a full life despite his physical limitations. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched.We remain deeply grateful for the care and concern so lovingly displayed by friends and family especially the Hayes, Amann and Tomaso families, as well as the numerous friends who were in his life through good times and difficult times. Thanks go out to the medical staff at Columbia-St. Mary's Hospital, the Select Specialty Hospital and the Ruth Hospice House of the Veritas group.
