Janet Jean Rand (Nee King)Age 84, passed away peacefully on April 25th 2018, with family by her side. Janet was born on November 8, 1933 in Milwaukee, WI. She attended West Division High School where she met her husband Gordie. They married on February 15, 1958 in Columbia, South Carolina, where Gordie was stationed in the US Air Force. They spent the first 24 years of their marriage moving, raising their four daughters and making many lasting friendships. Gordie retired in 1977 and they settled back home in Greendale, WI.Janet was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Anita King, brother John (Sharon) King, sister-in-law Nancy Rand, brother-in-law Carl McClellen and life-long friends Jack and Louise Schultz. Janet is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gordon Rand, daughters Linda (Kevin) Rhodes, Kelli (Jeff) Stolen, Patti (Jeff) Taugher, and Terri (Kurt) Kreutzer; seven grandchildren, Jamie (Tim) Griffith, Sean, Cory, and Adam Rhodes, Steven and Jared Stolen, and Kaitlyn Kreutzer; her brother Cliff (Darlene) King and sister Ginny (Carl) McClellen. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the caring staff at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice for their compassionate care in her final days.
