Jean Marie Johnston, age 76, passed in peace on May 12th, 2018. She wasborn on March 24th, 1942 in Lake City, Iowa to Oren King and Audrey King.Jean was the beloved wife of Roger Johnston for 57 years. She alwaysspread her incredible generosity and touched the hearts of family andstrangers alike. Jean lived her life to the fullest, finding joy in simplepleasures like mowing her lawn, shopping, getting her nails done, andspending time with her dog, Tinkerbelle. However, her greatest joy of allcame from the time she spent with family and friends, putting their needsabove all else. Jean was a loving sister to Robert King (deceased),Beverly Thomas, Shirley Ashbrook, and Patty Allan. She was a caring anddevoted mother to three: Kevin Johnston, Douglas (Lori) Johnston, andAudrey Renee (Kenneth) Della. Jean is also survived by sevengrandchildren: Danielle, Ashley, Dakota, Lauren, Skylar, Nicholas, andChristopher; and two great-grandchildren, Emma and Tyler. She wasincredibly loved and will be missed by many.Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17th at 4:00 PM-6:30 PM, with afuneral service at 6:30 PM.
