Jean passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the age of 97. Born Jean Huebner on November 1, 1927 in Milwaukee, WI. Resided in Brookfield for over 50 years.

Survived by her beloved children, Jill, David (Donna) and Mary (Randy) Koehler. Proud Grandma to Rob (Kelly) and Michael Borden and Scott (Julie) and Steven (Sarah) Rubin. Great Grandma to Cyrinity, Brooke and Isabelle. Preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Donald and her oldest son, James. Her greatest joy and accomplishment was her family.

Jean graduated from Marquette University and taught elementary school at Magee School in the Kettle Moraine School District. She volunteered after retirement as a teacher's aide in the Muskego-Norway School District. Jean was a guiding light to students throughout her life.

Jean loved to serve and help others. She was an avid Bridge and Sheepshead player, enjoyed travel and cherished her time spent on Pewaukee and Denoon Lakes. She gave generously of her time and talents and volunteered to bring meals to the homeless through an outreach of St. John Vianney Church in Brookfield where she was a member for over 50 years.

Jean will continue to live on through all she gave to this world.

An private family interment of ashes and celebration of life will be held in July.
