Jeanette (Nettie) went home to her Lord Jesus on December 15, 2025, during her favorite time of year, Christmas. Jeanette is survived by her loving Daughter Jamie, cherished granddaughter Ava, brother Joseph Wysocki Jr., Harold (Darla) Baas, Gloria Hermanson, Joyce Switala, Steve Haupt, Irene Wysocki, cousins and many special lifelong friends.
She leaves behind many cherished memories shaped by long talks with family and friends, days in the sunshine, precious visits with her granddaughter Ava and especially fishing stories.
In her younger years, fishing was one of her favorite pastimes and there was no denying she was quite good at it. In addition to fishing she loved visiting warm climates, soaking up the sun and finding new destinations to explore.
Her love of visitors and great conversations never faded but her real warmth radiated out at every sight of her granddaughter Ava. She treasured life’s quieter moments. She was strong, resilient, stubborn and creative. Her presence was felt deeply by those around her.
Jeanette touched many lives in quiet, meaningful ways that will live on through her family. In her remembrance of her love of gardening and being outdoors, the family will have a Celebration of Life this summer.
Another special love in Jeanette’s life was her animals and especially Kitties. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to contribute to the Wisconsin Humane Society in her memory to help save more like her final cat companion “Trouble” who was adopted from the Wisconsin Humane Society.
