Jeanne Ruth Beining, nee' LaSee, July 3, 2019, peacefully passed away at her home in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. She was 78.
Jeanne was the eldest of 9 children of Norbert and Joan (Hein) LaSee, wife to Robert, mother of Karen (Christopher) Elwing, Dan (Jude) Beining and Steve Beining, grandmother to Lauren and Nicholas Elwing. She will be missed by her siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Jeanne was a lifelong resident of Wisconsin, born a farm girl and raised in Marshfield. As a young adult, Jeanne fell in love with Robert, married (1960) and moved to Milwaukee and resided there 51 years, followed by living in Elm Grove since 2014. Jeanne completed one year of teachers' college after graduating from Columbus High School in Marshfield. She was a dedicated wife and mother, a terrific homemaker and chef, accomplished seamstress and fine artist, producing many beautiful paintings. Sadly, at age 36 her many talents were deferred to overcoming the effects of a debilitating brain aneurysm and stroke which left her paraplegic. During her next 42 years of life, she remained always positive and accepting of the disabilities; enjoying reading, her plants, traveling and spending time with relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Andrews Catholic Church and Cemetery, 122726 County Rd C, Stratford (Rozellville) WI 54484 at 11:00 am, Saturday, Sept 21, 2019, visitation begins at 9:30 am. Officiated by Reverend Sengole Vethamanickam.
For our Milwaukee friends a memorial wake will be held in her honor at her residence 5 PM, Friday, Aug 9, 2019 - For more details and to RSVP, please contact Dan Beining at
