Obituary

Jeff (nicknamed "Puppy" by friends) was born February 17, 1958 in Milwaukee, and found peace at age 56 on Sunday, October 12, 2014.  Jeff was the son of Joan E. (Peck) and the late John A. Ehn Jr.  He is survived by his mother, Joan, his children; Heather and Jeff Jr., sisters; Jill (Tim) Noonan and Joy (Mark) Smith, and his fiancée, Debbie Medley.   He is further survived by his ex-wife Maureen Meer, nieces: Keli (Brian) Anderson, Andrea "AJ" (Geoff Eide) Herculeidez, Moriah "Mya" (Daniel & Audrey) Brown, nephews: John A. Ehn IV, Chris Noonan, Paul Noonan, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.  He was preceded in death by his father John A. Ehn, Jr. and his older brother, John "Jack" A. Ehn III.  Ironically Jeff's passing was three days short of the one year anniversary of his brother's death on Oct. 15, 2013, and also fell upon his former wife Maureen's birthday.Jeff was on the donor liver transplant list, and although had two potential donor matches; the first liver his transplant team determined was not good enough, and the second he had to pass on because his body began to shut down before the surgery began.  Jeff fought hard for 9+ months but ultimately lost the battle. Jeff was a fun loving guy who was always willing to lend a helping hand.  He was a Master Mechanic for Honda and worked for other car dealerships as well.  Jeff enjoyed motors of all kinds whether it was cars (Current makes & the old Classics), Harley Davidson Motorcycles, Bayliner boats, mini bikes & carts for the kids, riding lawn mowers and more.  He enjoyed a good Nascar race, watching the Packers and Brewers win, watching Duck Dynasty, eating good food and washing it down with a good cold beverage with friends.  He had a special connection with his father "FJ" and his brother whom he affectionate referred to as "Eggie", "Herbie" or "Rockstar".Jeff had spent the most recent years living with his fiancée Debbie and serving as one of the caregivers for his mother Joan.  Jeff always enjoyed having pets, especially dogs he currently has a mixed breed dog named Bailey and is "uncle" to Joy & Mark's Border collie named Sasha.  He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. with funeral service at 6 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2014 in the Chapel of the Flowers in the Great Memorial Building at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI.  Inurnment will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery, directly next to his father and brother's graves. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the charity of your choice.
