Jeremy John Orlowski, 34, of Wilmington, died Thursday, August 7, 2014, at home.Jeremy was born December 3, 1979 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.Jeremy was born and raised in West Allis, Wisconsin, the older of two children. Jeremy loved his little sister dearly and protected her, as a big brother would always do. He loved to play baseball and hockey. But most of all he loved to roller skate and his first job was at Skate University. Jeremy loved hunting. He was 11 years old when he was introduced to gun hunting. He took a hunter's safety course with his dad and received a perfect score, beating his dad.He loved school and loved to learn new things. He was an avid reader and he was really smart with computers. He attended Pershing Elementary School in West Milwaukee and later attended West Allis Central High School. When he was 16, he moved to Wilmington and attended New Hanover High School. After that he enjoyed working with his hands, doing carpeting, vinyl, tile, and drywall. He did it all! He also did marine construction which he loved to do so he could be outdoors enjoying the ocean view. But what he did best was be a dad. He loved his son Alex with all his heart and was always patient and kind with him. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for Alex, his family, his dogs or his friends. That's the kind of person Jeremy was. He enjoyed spending time talking about life with his mother. He loved life deeply and he will be missed by all of us forever. We love you Jeremy!
